George Adams

At the IUCPQ, on March 31st, 2025, at the age of 82, Mr. George Adams passed away, husband of Mrs. Irene Vanhaesebroucke, son of the late Mr. Walter Adams and the late Mrs. Mabel McCarvill. He resided in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier.

The family will receive condolences at the Anglican Christ Church (2261, Boulevard Valcartier, Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, QC G0A 4S0) on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The religious service will be held at 2:30 PM.

Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his daughters: Nancy (Gordon Jack), Sandra (Eric Roy), and Kathy (Nicholas Lachance); his grandchildren: Shayne, Brendan (Trycia Bernier-Drolet), Riley (Camille Simard), Jacob, Nathan, Paige (Maxime Germain), and Kelly; his great-granddaughters: Zarah Jack, Leila Jack, Casie Jack, Hailey Germain, and Kiana Jack; his siblings: Hazel (André Savard), the late Walter (Danielle Garneau), the late Barbara Ann (Alain Lafrance), Ray, Allan (Cheryl McCoubrey), the late Marjorie, and the late Donald; his brother-in-law the late Claude Hanuise (Christine Geerts), his sister-in-law Andrée Vanhaesebroucke, as well as many aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Sincere thank you to the staff of the 3rd Notre-Dame unit of IUCPQ, especially the nursing staff: Sarah-Maude, Marie, Camille, Marie-Pier, as well as Dr. Guay, Dr. Turgeon, and Dr. Kwan Tat for the excellent care provided. The family would also like to thank the fire department of Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier.

Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses filles: Nancy (Gordon Jack), Sandra (Eric Roy) et Kathy (Nicholas Lachance); ses petits-enfants: Shayne, Brendan (Trycia Bernier-Drolet), Riley (Camille Simard), Jacob, Nathan, Paige (Maxime Germain) et Kelly; ses arrière-petites-filles: Zarah Jack, Leila Jack, Casie Jack, Hailey Germain et Kiana Jack; ses frères et soeurs: Hazel (André Savard), feu Walter (Danielle Garneau), feu Barbara Ann (Alain Lafrance), Ray, Allan (Cheryl McCoubrey), feu Marjorie et feu Donald; son beau-frère feu Claude Hanuise (Christine Geerts), sa belle-soeur Andrée Vanhaesebroucke ainsi que plusieurs tantes, neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis(es).

Un sincère remerciement au personnel du 3e Notre-Dame de l’IUCPQ, plus particulièrement au personnel infirmier: Sarah-Maude, Marie, Camille, Marie-Pier ainsi qu’aux Dr Guay, Dr Turgeon et Dr Kwan Tat pour les bons soins prodigués. La famille tient aussi à remercier le département du service incendie de Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier.
